"Periphery II" album trailer

Periphery have released the teaser trailer of their second album.
"We are very happy to announce the full track listing and show you guys the artwork for our sophomore release. We put so much hard work and time into this album and we thank all of your for your continued support and patience. The album clocks in at sixty-nine minutes exactly and has tons of brand new material, so I assure you it is well worth the wait" says Misha Mansoor.
Mansoor revealed that the group will release the first single from the album in the coming weeks. The set includes guest appearances by Guthrie Govan, John Petrucci, and Wes Hauch.

The Acacia Strain: new song "Servant In The Place Of Truth"

The Acacia Strain have recently signed with Rise Records and they have released a new song called "Servant In The Place Of Truth".
“As you can see, we aren’t changing at all, only working harder to write the best tunes that we are proud of that the fans enjoy.” states guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz. “We are really stoked on this song and are glad people are liking it.”

The band will continue to write and will be recording over the next few months with a release scheduled for October on Rise Records. More importantly, where will they be recording and with who? Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz will be producing, engineering and mixing the album in his studio in Western Mass. The band just got off of a weeklong run that ended at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. Now that they are home, they have their first get together this week to get the ball rolling for this new release. Vocalist, Vincent Bennet says “You all love DL, so it makes sense for us to go ahead and do the album this way and keep it heavy right from the source of where this all comes from. We are still here, talking to you, doing what we have always done. This is such a great time for this band, you have no idea.”

Whitechapel: "Hate Creation" and the fourth upcoming album

Whitechapel are back! Exciting times ahead. Whitechapel, the band’s self-titled fourth album will be released on June 19th via Metal Blade Records.
A few days ago Whitechapel have unveiled the album artwork, track listing and released the first single from the album "Hate Creation".

Architects "Alpha Omega"

After "Devil's Island" and "These Colours Don't Run" Architects released last night another song taken from their fifth upcoming album called "Daybreaker".
As you can hear they are coming back heavier than "The Here and Now", with more political lyrics and less personal. Searle (guitarist) talk about that:"There's a lot of religion on there, which is the fun thing about being an atheist. There's media, the society we live, the relationship we have with money, things like that."
"Daybreaker" will be released on May 28, don't miss it!

Despite Exile - "Perfection Neutralized"

This in one of the most promising band in the italian prog/deathcore scene.
These guys are from Udine, Italy. In 2010 they released their first EP "Scarlet Reveire" and they start touring around Italy sharing the stage with many bands such as Heart In Hands, It Prevails, Hopes Die Last, Ready Set Fall!
During 2011 they recorded a new EP and they released a new track called "Oscillate" on got-djent.com and a music video for "Perfection Neutralized" (below) out via Blanktv.
A perfect mix of djently breakdowns, death metal sections and powerful melodies.
